The Atlas supplies a vital new resource to support London’s homeless sector, giveing details of the location of all services and which agencies provide them as well as details of key health providers and non-homeless agencies that work with a large number of homeless. This second edition of the Atlas, published in November 2009, builds on the first, both correcting mistakes, and documenting changes on the ground.

On 16 June 2009, 40 representatives from 22 of London’s day centres took part in a workshop hosted by the London Housing Foundation to discuss the future of day centres in the capital. By the end of the day, delegates had agreed a set of draft service standards to enhance their work and promote the day centre sector to funders, local authorities and communities.

The new edition sets out guidance on the use of the Star and contains two main sections.
